Dear parents,

I would like to take the opportunity to introduce myself, my name is Rebecca and I am the new Secretary at Sirius College.

Here’s a bit about me.

I have worked in the administration industry for over 20 years and I am looking forward to working with staff, students and their families here. I have big boots to fill as Jahla’s replacement. I was so pleased that she was patient with me while I learnt the routine. I have recently moved to Shepparton from Melbourne to enjoy the country life and the clean air and to leave the smog and traffic behind. I enjoy going to the movies and eating wholesome food. However, I do have a weakness for donuts.

If you have the time, please come into the office to say hello.

I would also like to remind students and parents of the important items below before the year ends.

• A friendly reminder that all students need to return their library books, otherwise overdue charges will apply.
• A short note to advise that there are only a few available spots left for Foundation class next year. Please ask your friends and family if they are interested in enrolling their children.
• If you are planning to remove your child from our school, you will need to complete the EXIT form to avoid any extra payments for 2019.
